The Brazilian winger netted his 94th goal for the club in the closing stages of the 4-0 win over Eibar on Sunday evening. Ronaldinho amassed his 94 goals across 207 Barça matches, but Neymar has managed the same feat in just 164 games. The great Ronaldinho is one of the all-time fan favourites, with his magical skill and devastating efficiency in the final third. His abilities helped Barça to the Champions League trophy in 2006, as well as a host of other honours. And now, Neymar is writing history of his own with the club with his constant contribution to the team which too have led to a number of memorable moments in one of Barça’s best ever spells.

Manchester United are back on top of the Deloitte Football Money League for the first time since 2005 but the pound’s fall against the euro means they may struggle to beat Barcelona and Real Madrid again next year. Now in its 20th year, the Deloitte study ranks the world’s richest football teams by turnover during the 2015-16 season and this year’s top three of United, Barcelona and Real is the same as the first edition in 1997. Real, who had topped the list for 11 years, were beaten to second place by their La Liga rivals by just €100,000. United, on the other hand, have surged ahead of the pack, becoming the first football team to earn more than £500 million in a season — the club’s total revenue of £515m is almost £50m more than Barcelona and Real generated. Crown FC, Ogbomosho have been thrown into mourning following the death of their player, Samson Folorunso, in a road crash which reportedly claimed 11 others on the Oyo/Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State on Saturday. According to eyewitness accounts, the accident occurred when the driver of commuter bus conveying Folorunsho and other passengers lost control of the vehicle in a bid to avoid a head-on collision with an articulated truck and plunged into the Odo-Oba River. Folorunsho was a skillful midfielder for Crown FC. Oyo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Abayomi Oke, who confirmed the report, said the remains of the player had been taken to Lagos. Crown are owned by the Oyo State Government. Oke said, “We are sad to lose a player of top quality. The club and the state government, through the Ministry of Youths and Sports, will issue a statement at the appropriate time. The 23-year-old rejoined United in a £89.3million deal from Juventus last summer. Footballer gets yellow card for proposing to girlfriend during match.  Ashton Surber scored a spectacular goal as his side NAPA Rovers was playing for Guam Shipyards before lifting his shirt to reveal a shirt inscribed "Marry Me," a question directed to his girlfriend watching the game from the stands. Ashton's girlfriend La’Kiesha Pereda said "Yes" but unfortunately, the referee booked the striker for taking off his shirt. The match took place in US territory of Guam this weekend. The award comes off the back of Ronaldo winning the 61st edition of the Ballon d’Or in September following a stellar year which saw him achieve Champions League and Euro 2016 success with Real Madrid and Portugal. The draw for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series will be held on Thursday in Libreville, Gabon. The qualifiers are scheduled to begin on June 5 across the continent. Cameroon will host the 2019 edition of the AFCON, 47 years after they staged the tournament. Chad, which pulled out of the qualifiers for the 2017 AFCON, has been banned from this edition of the competition. Football’s world governing body, FIFA has stopped the annual $ 1.5 million development grant to Nigeria after discovering “traces of corruption” in how previous funds were spent by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). AfricanFootball.com reports that FIFA went further to issue the NFF a final warning “to straighten its financial records.” The Nigerian government is now expected to quickly step into this latest development after Sports Minister Solomon Dalung first expressed serious misgivings on the back of a FIFA query on how NFF used grants paid them. NFF this week received the FIFA leter signed from the office in charge of the national associations. FIFA member-associations including Nigeria began to receive increased annual grants under new president Gianni Infantino. Previously the associations were paid $250,000 per annum. Chelsea striker, Diego Costa has revealed what he said to team-mate, Pedro Rodriguez, during their 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
