According to TMZ, Dice claims he helped write the multi-platinum single and they agreed on him receiving a 16.9 percent cut of the royalties. However, the rapper says Fetty Wap removed him from the song to avoid paying him, after they had a falling out.
The lawsuit claims Dice had a verbal agreement with Fetty, but he later removed his appearance on the song and reduced his share of the profits to 5%.
P-Dice appeared in the “679” music video, but an edited version ended up on Fetty’s album, which debuted No. 1 on Billboard. The music video has topped 238 million views.
P-Dice is suing for damages in excess of $7 million.
