Boko Haram Pioneer Shekau Discharges New Video, Says He's Healthy



The troubled pioneer of jihadist gathering Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, reemerged in a video posted online Sunday, dismissing statements by the Nigerian armed force that he had been truly injured.

"You have been spreading in the online networking that you harmed or killed me," Shekau said in the 40-minute video discharged on YouTube and dated September 25.

"Goodness despots, I'm in a glad state, healthy and in security."

The Nigerian armed force said on August 23 that Shekau had been truly injured in the shoulder in an air assault in which a few administrators were murdered.

The armed force's case was reinforced when Boko Haram discharged a video on September 13 without Shekau in it.

That video, additionally posted on YouTube, demonstrates a unidentified man who says he is speaking to Shekau, who had supposedly been expelled by the Islamic State gathering to which Boko Haram promised faithfulness in Walk 2015.
